Therapy for Children

Looking for a therapist for your child can be rather daunting. I have worked with children and teenagers since 2007 in schools, private practice and hospice settings. 

I work from a person centered/child led approach. I use play and art materials during sessions with children. I have recently expanded this part of my practice and moved to Wapping Wharf to be able to create a play therapy space within my private practice. 

I currently work with Victim Support, Be More Ben, NAOS Therapy, Nelson Therapy and Adoption West supporting children who are bereaved, adopted, in foster care, suffering trauma, anxiety and depression,. 

With younger children it is imperative that I conduct an assessment at the beginning of their therapy journey. Initially I will meet with parents/carers to discuss what has brought them to therapy.
